300 Bar iFLOW Technology

iFLOW Technology

iFLOW valve technology incorporates high pressure (300 bar) inergen cylinders allowing for better utilisation of agent container storage areas whilst maintaining the same manifold pressures. iFLOW is an improvement on existing INERGEN (IG-541) inert Gaseous Fire Suppression systems with several key improvements:

  1. The iFLOW® regulated flow valve lowers the manifold and discharge pressure by regulating the discharge flow to a nominal pressure of 60 bar (870 psi) in the 300 bar (4350 psi) system. This equates to reduced piping cost and complexity whilst achieving 95% of the desired concentrations within 60 to 120 seconds.
  2. The iFLOW® horizontal check valve saves installation time by allowing interconnection of cylinders and can remove the requirement for a discharge manifold.
  3. The iFLOW® matrix system allows flexibility of design and easy implementation in complex storage areas. Compared to typical racking systems, the matrix system allows for greater flexibility by allowing containers to be positioned in regular rows or around objects. The iFLOW matrix system also enables individual cylinders to be removed without removing the surrounding containers.
  4. The iFLOW® matrix system offers design flexibility and adaptation to complex architectural spaces. Compared with traditional racking, the matrix system allows storage containers to be positioned in conventional rows or around objects providing more flexibility during installation and quicker removal of containers from the bank during recharge and exchange
  5. Higher pressure cylinders contain more pressurized agen which results in fewer cylinders for a given protected area, reducing hardware costs associated with cylinders and requiring less facility space.
  6. Cylinder storage flexility due to the ability to pipe the suppression agent long distances allows flexibility without comprimising safety or aesthetics. (Horizontal distance is limited only to flow calculations, Vertical Distance is limited to ~30M or 100ft)
