S231F + Thorn Triple IR Flameproof Flame Detector c/w Conventional Circuit Interface

The Minerva S231f+ Flame Detector allows connection to a 20V dc current monitored conventional fire alarm controller. This is achieved over a standard two core cable.

Where a number of devices are permitted on a single detection zone, the S213f+ can be used. The number of devices supported on each zone is dependant on the control panel used.

The microprocessor based Minerva S860 series flame detectors have developed over more than 30 years, with technologies that combine solar blind sensing of UV radiation and narrow waveband sensing of flame specific IR radiation to provide a reliable means of detecting flaming fires.

The detectors are supplied in a Flameproof (Explosion proof) housing making them suitable for use in zones classified as Hazardous Areas. The S213f+ is compatible with a wide range of Tyco and other conventional and analogue addressable control panels with various land and marine approvals and applications.
