FSP Can Supply Kidde American Flood (Type I) Valve (WK-840253-000).
The Kidde High-Pressure Carbon Dioxide (HPCO2) Fire Suppression Systems uses a forged brass discharge valve.
The "American Flood" style valve is supplied with and used on 75lb & 100lb capacity cylinder assemblies.
A safety relief device (Burst Disk) provides protection of the cylinder from over pressurization and is provided as part of the discharge valve assembly.
The side port can be used to attach a compatible control head or functions as a fill connection.
A pressure gauge is not provided as the CO2 is stored under its own vapour pressure.
a properly attached discharge head is required to be installed on the discharge valve before it can dispense the cylinder contents.
A discharge flex hose or a swivel adapter then connects the discharge head to the system manifold.
A discharge head and flex hose need to be ordered for each cylinder assembly.
