Suppression units shall be designed, filled, pressurized

SUPPRESSION AGENT
The suppression agent used in the Firetrace ILP Systems
approved under UNECE R107 is mono ammonium
phosphate, also known as ABC dry chemical powder. ABC
dry chemical powder is included in NFPA 17, and has been
evaluated and approved for use in occupied areas, provided
the proper safety precautions have been taken.
ABC dry chemical powder is a finely divided powder that has
been treated to be a water repellent. It is capable of being
fluidized and free flowing so that it can be discharged through
discharge piping and nozzles under the influence of an
expellant gas. When discharged, ABC dry chemical powder
will drift through the air and settle on surrounding surfaces.
For hazard information, decomposition information, and
physical properties of ABC dry chemical powder please refer
to the Safety Data Sheet.
